It’s true!!!  Eagle Window and Door is now leading the industry by offering you two STANDARD interior wood species.  Both PINE and FIR are now available at the same price.

February 2008 - Fire Victim Discount
As you may recall, wildfires in October 2007 burned across Southern California from Santa Barbara County to the Mexican border destroying over 1,500 homes and over 500,000 acres of land. Many of the homes destroyed are now in various stages of the rebuilding process. In an effort to offer aid to the victims of this tragedy, Eagle Window and Door Manufacturing, Inc. is extending a Fire Victim discount to those purchasing Eagle windows and doors in 2008. A Fire Victim discount will be extended at the time of purchase. A valid FEMA case number and a jobsite address will be required in order to qualify for this discount.

We hope this small gesture will help relieve some of the financial burden for the losses suffered in this tragedy.

October 2007 - Wood Product Elimination
It is with much consideration that Eagle has decided to eliminate the wood product families including all wood windows and doors, as well as mixed product, on March 1, 2008. Manufacturing aluminum-clad products only will result in better products and service to you as we focus on better serving your aluminum clad window and door needs.

After March 1, 2008, the wood product families will be available for warranty and replacement purposes only.

August 2007 - Updated Talon® Double-Hung Window

New Double-hung WindowThe lower sash now features a taller bottom rail and traditional stile and rail design. From the exterior, the bottom rail height is now 3-3/4” tall – an increase from 2-1/4”. From the interior, the bottom rail height is 1-1/2” tall when closed – an increase from 1”. The sash is stylishly positioned behind the sill which further enhances the aesthetic appeal and provides improved reliability. This classic look provides style and functionality, while maximizing performance. The void on the exterior between the sash and the sill (when closed) has been significantly reduced, for even greater visual appeal. Our variety of jamb liners provide you with simple or sophisticated options. Select from our current synthetic interior and exterior inserts or add a painted aluminum exterior or wood veneered interior insert.

Previously, the interlock components between the two sashes of the current double-hung had been vinyl. These interlock components have been replaced with metal for added structural integrity. The updated design also incorporates straight tilt pins for improved structural performance. With the removal of the exposed clips for impact resistance, the Talon HarborMaster now has a sleek, uncluttered exterior. Plus, our redesigned Talon HarborMaster incorporates a Passive Impact Stability System that requires no extra steps to ensure the integrity of the HarborMaster impact-resistant double-hung. A minimum of two rubbers, applied to the sill, create a structural connection between the lower sash and frame. Simply close and lock the window and it’s ready to withstand even the toughest weather conditions.
