Let the Eagle Ascent hinged French doors welcome you to the home you've always imagined. Classic lines, broad views, energy and solid security come standard with Eagle Ascent hinged French doors. To provide your home with a more traditional look, Asent hinged French doors have a standard 8" or optional 12" bottom rail. Give your home's look even more character by adding raised panels or a mid-rail to your doors.

Frame & Panel
Select wood components are kiln dried, and treated with water/insect repellent and preservative. Interior wood surfaces are available in standard Pine or optional wood species. Interior Finishes are available unfinished or factory primed. Optional factory finishes available in a variety of stains and base coats.
Wood components are fitted with aluminum extrusion on the exterior. Fifty standard colors conforming to AAMA 2604-98 are available, as well as custom colors. Also available in a selection of seven exterior anodized options.
Glazing
Minimum 5/8" OA tempered Low-E4 glass or sunscreen glass with a low conductance spacer. Tempered clear IG glass, high altitude glass and other special glazing options are available. Impact glazing may also be available on out swing doors. |

Sill
Premium grade aluminum inswing sill with an oak threshold. Sills have a built-in drainage channel that allows water to drain away from the interior of the door. A top plate is removable for easy cleaning. A polyurethane thermal barrier helps reduce heat loss. Available in mill or dark bronze anodized finish.
Premium grade aluminum outswing bumper sill is backed with a compression foam weather strip. Available in mill or dark bronze anodized finish.

Door Anchorage
Inswing and outswing doors receive a factory applied vinyl nailing fin with drip cap. Some inswing doors require an adjustable metal nailing fin. Optional metal installation clips are available. |

Concealed Screens (Inswing Only)
New concealed, retractable screen has charcoal fiberglass panels. Available for single or double door units. Screen retracts when needed and rolls into concealed housing when not in use. Available in 50 Eagle Complimentary Colors™.

Swinging Screens (Inswing Only)
Charcoal fiberglass screen mesh fits into an aluminum frame in 50 standard colors. Provided with a black lockable latch and automatic closer for smooth operation. Available in single or multiple door units. Aluminum screen mesh is also available.

Door Latches 
Eagle's Auto latch multi-point locking hardware automatically locks the door panel at three points with traditional latch bolt mechanisms to provide a secure, weather-tight system. Made of stainless steel, the edge hardware is protected from the elements.
With a latch at the top, center and bottom, the door panel remains secure and positioned tight against the weather strip.

Adding a transom to our Ascent hinged French door provides added light and elegance to any room. We now offer both inswing and outswing transoms to give your door the added touch you have been looking for.
Inswing transoms are available in three wall depths to alight with your inswing door wall depth. The inswing transom sill has been redesigned to slope for water disbursements. Sash set transoms are available with 2 3/4", 4 11/16" and 6 1/2" stiles to match your door. |
New to the Ascent hinged French door is the outswing transom. Outswing transoms are available for 4 9/16" wall depths. Sash set transoms are available with 2 3/4", 4 11/16" and 6 1/2" stiles to complement your door.

 Raised Panel Inserts
Add character and are available in 1/2 and 3/4 lite options. Real wood, available in all nine wood species, makes up the interior panel. The exterior panel is made of formed aluminum cladding and is available in all 50 Eagle Complimentary Colors™and custom color.
The raised panel inserts are based on the standard 8" bottom rail with 4 11/16" stiles. They are available in nine widths to match standard panel sizes.
Additional mid rail options allow glass panels to be placed above and below the mid-rail for added interest. |
Venting Sidelights
Available in inswing and outswing
Outswing sidelights have concealed locks and operate with our convenient folding crank handles. Pine interior wood screens can be customized to match your interior finish. Inswing sidelites come with special hardware that locks in the center and complements the door's handle set. When the handle is activated upwards, two shoot bolts engage at the head and sill for added security. Inswing sidelites feature an exterior insect screen.

Center Post Door
Allows panels to be hinged at the center or at the jamb. Available in three wall depths: 3 1/2", adjustable 4 9/16" and adjustable 6 9/16". A laminated veneer lumber (LVL) clad post provides exceptional structural integrity. A top-hung sliding screen is available on the inswing center post door. |
Commercial Panel
Available in single or double door applications. The commercial panels have a 12" bottom rail and 6 1/2" stiles and a mid-rail that allow for commercial hardware installation.
