Using the traditional approach to sliding windows as a guideline, EAGLE® has designed the ultimate clad Slide-By window, with the low-maintenance and high-performance features you've come to expect from EAGLE Window and Door products.
The Slide-By was engineered as an economical option to the double casement window. With only one frame and operable sash, the Slide-By is an affordable alternative. With no projecting parts, the Slide-By window is great for walkways or multi-story buildings. Minimal hardware means fewer mechanical parts to wear. However, the importance of easy-glide performance hasn't been forgotten. Two brass tandem roller assemblies enable the sash to slide smoothly and evenly with little effort.  Printable PDF

Frame & Sash
Select wood components are kiln dried, and treated with water/insect repellent and preservative. Interior wood surfaces are available in standard Pine or optional wood species. Interior Finishes are available unfinished or factory primed. Optional factory finishes available in a variety of stains and base coats.
Wood components are fitted with aluminum extrusion on the exterior. Fifty standard colors conforming to AAMA 2604-98 are available, as well as custom colors. Also available in a selection of seven exterior anodized options.
Glazing
Minimum 5/8" OA Low-E4 glass with a low conductance spacer. Clear IG, high altitude glass and other special glazing options are available.
Weather Strip
Compression foam-filled bulb weather strip is applied on the sill for maximum resistance to wear and air infiltration. Outside and inside sashes are sealed with a compression bulb weather strip interlock.
