Classic lines and traditional design blend with today's modern features to create Ascent sliding doors in sliding French and sliding patio styles. Our Ascent sliding French door showcases a standard 8" or optional 12" bottom rail that adds sophistication and charm to any room. Ascent sliding patio doors aren't just for patios these days - they're at home in any room. With narrow stiles and rails, expansive views come standard.

features

		Frame & Panel Select wood components are kiln dried, and treated with water/insect repellent and preservative. Interior wood surfaces are available in standard Pine or optional wood species. Interior Finishes are available unfinished or factory primed. Optional factory finishes available in a variety of stains and base coats. Wood components are fitted with aluminum extrusion on the exterior. Fifty standard colors conforming to AAMA 2604-98 are available, as well as custom colors. Also available in a selection of seven exterior anodized options. Glazing Minimum 5/8" OA tempered Low-E4 glass or sunscreen glass with a low conductance spacer. Tempered clear IG glass, high altitude glass and other special glazing options are available. Impact glazing may also be available.
Sliding Patio	Sliding French

Sill A durable fiberglass sill is an excellent thermal barrier and provides smooth operation of the door panel. Available in dark bronze and clear anodized finishes. Weather Strip The frame consists of foam filled leaf weather strip on the exterior creating a weatherproof pocket for the panel. A dual weather strip seal on the interlock is fitted between the fixed and operating meeting stiles. Door Anchorage Folding vinyl nailing fins are pre-applied into a kerf on the frame exterior to facilitate installation. Optional metal installation clips are available. Standard wall depth is 4 9/16" for sliding French doors.

Screens
Concealed Screens New concealed, retractable screen has charcoal fiberglass panels. Screen retracts when not needed to provide an unobstructed view through the glass. Available in 50 standard colors.		Top Hung Sliding Screens Charcoal fiberglass screen mesh fits into an aluminum frame in 50 standard colors. Aluminum screen mesh is available as an option.

hardware

Operating panel consists of two tandem ball bearing steel rollers assemblies. Stainless steel roller assemblies are available as an option.		Two-Point Hook Lock (gear-driven) is standard, with an optional stainless steel version.
Optional Slim line exterior pulls are also available painted to match the exterior finish of sliding patio doors.		An enhanced foot bolt is discreetly positioned on the side of the panel. Foot bolt locks with door closed or open for ventilation. Available in all finish options to match handle sets.

Handle Sets Standard sliding French door handle set has an interior and exterior Polished Brass finish. Sliding patio door standard handle set has a Black finish with an oak interior pull. Bi-parting doors have one operable and one dummy handle. Keyed locks are available.

New Classico Handle Sets The new Classico handle sets feature a curved handle pull providing a more contemporary style. Classico handle sets are constructed of solid brass and are available in 12 finishes including three new distressed options, shown below. Classico handle sets feature a flip lever lock. Bi-parting doors have one operable and one dummy handle. Keyed locks are available. Classico handle sets can be retrofitted for current Ascent and pre-Ascent sliding doors.
