Talon Lock
Eagle's innovative easy tilt doulbe-hung locks have a sleek design and, because the lock itself is concealed, provide a traditional uncluttered look. It's easy to tell with a quick glance whether the window is locked or unlocked, even from across the room. |
| With a simple 3/4 turn of each lever toward the center of the window, the sash is unlocked and can be lifted for ventilation. Continuing another 1/4 turn releases the concealed tilting mechanism and the sash easily tilts inward for cleaning. No strings or cords, just consistent and effortless operation. To close, simply push the sash back into the frame. The tilt latches are spring-loaded and minimize potential damage to the window framing during closure. Then close the sash and turn the levers to the locking position. The unique jamb liner and lock assembly work together to center the sash, ensuring a weather-tight fit on all sides. |

The EAGLE Talon™ Double-Hung also features jamb liners with optional stainable or paint able wood inserts to match the interior of the window sash and painted aluminum inserts to match the exterior of the window. These jamb liners provide a smoother, more attractive appearance and replicate the architectural look of double-hung windows of a by-gone era. |

Frame & Sash
Select wood components are kiln dried, and treated with water/insect repellent and preservative. Interior wood surfaces are available in standard Pine or optional wood species. Interior Finishes are available unfinished or factory primed. Optional factory finishes available in a variety of stains and base coats.
 Wood components are fitted with aluminum extrusion on the exterior. Fifty standard colors conforming to AAMA 2604-98 are available, as well as custom colors. Also available in a selection of seven exterior anodized options. Try up to 125,000 color combinations with this color design tool
Glazing
Minimum 5/8" OA Low-E4 glass with a low conductance spacer. Clear IG, high altitude glass and other special glazing options are available.
Weather Strip
Compression bulb weather strip is applied on the bottom sash, head jamb, at the check rail and on side jambs for a maximum weather seal.
Replacement Sash Kit
Kits are complete with window sashes, locking hardware and sash lifts, compression jamb liners and balance systems, sill dam, head parting stop and installation hardware. Each kit is built to your exact measurements.

Talon Sash Lock tilt mechanisms and keepers give a slim, more traditional design and allow opening and tilting of the window in one operation. Tilting the sash from the inside of cleaning is effortless. Concealed, sash locks provide a positive lock. Stainless steel keepers resist corrosion.
